‘It’s taken over my body’: After the condition reached her face, Kim Kardashian has announced she is considering medical steps to combat her psoriasis

‘Need help’: ‘I think the time has come I start a medication for psoriasis,’ the 38-year-old tweeted Sunday, adding: ‘I’ve never seen it like this before and I can’t even cover it at this point’

‘It’s taken over my body. Has anyone tried a medication for psoriasis & what kind works best? Need help ASAP!!!’ wrote the reality TV icon.

The tweet came a few short hours before she finally unveiled her family’s long-awaited annual Christmas card.

Kim recently shared her holiday makeup routine as she revealed how her psoriasis has now spread to her face.

In a video with Vogue Magazine earlier this month, the TV star gave fans a glimpse inside her bathroom as she put on her make-up.

Revealed: Kim shared her holiday makeup look with Vogue in a video she filmed in the bathroom of her home

The start of the video detailed how Kim makes sure to always apply enough moisturizer while she showed the camera the psoriasis marks across her cheeks.

‘You can see I have psoriasis on my face,’ Kim said. ‘It’s coming on my face. Whoever is stressing me the f*** out needs to leave me alone.’

Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that causes the cells to turnover faster than normal. This can form red and scaly patches along the skin.

There is no cure from psoriasis, just ways to maintain the symptoms. But the skin condition can flare-up in moments of stress, which is why Kim mentioned how people causing her excess stress need to stop.

Upset: During the video, she showed how her psoriasis has spread to her face. The chronic skin condition can flare-up because of stress

Kim has opened up about the skin condition on her Instagram and in a previous episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Earlier this year, the reality star shared how the flare-ups on her skin have decreased.

But it appears some patches have moved onto the sides of her face.
