A Vampy Gigi Hadid Fronts Vogue Arabia Magazine’s Second Anniversary Cover

Gracing the cover of Vogue Arabia magazine’s second anniversary cover is a smouldering Gigi Hadid.

Shot by renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh, one part of the six-photo feature sees the supermodel in a dreamy Ashi Studio Couture dress, Yohji Yamamoto boots and Maison Fabre gloves. Here, she leans against a tall window, with the city lights at the back lending a touch of drama.

Another photo shows Hadid rocking smoky eyes. She dons a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dress and Haider Ackermann leggings, as well as champions messy, loose locks.

In an accompanying interview, Hadid says she owes her success to hard work and determination, as opposed to being propelled by her family’s social standing. Her father, Mohamed Hadid, is a notable real estate developer, while her mother, Yolanda Hadid, is a television personality and former model.

She also debunks misconceptions that her family is cemented in Hollywood’s glitzy culture. Instead, her Palestinian heritage keeps her grounded.

“Being Arab has [also] influenced me to be open and loving of all backgrounds…” she adds. “Being more of one thing doesn’t make you less of something else.” Read the full interview here.
