“I never, ever considered myself chubby or overweight. I didn’t know that I was until I went on TV, and everyone told me that I was ‘fat,’” Kardashian explained during the interview. “I never felt that way, because my family never allowed me to.”

“As silly as it sounds, I do positive affirmations with her in the morning,” the Revenge Body host remarked, adding that even though “it so corny,” they “sit in front of the mirror” and say, “I am beautiful.”

Continuing, the proud mama shared, “It’s my job to make her feel, no matter what she looks like, that she is strong and confident and beautiful, and it’s OK to embrace all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. My whole family is a melting pot of race and skin tone and hair color and height — everything. That’s our reality and our children need to know how beautiful diversity is.”

This isn’t the first time the Good American co-founder has opened up about their mommy-daughter affirmations.

“I do affirmations with True every single day,” she told Refinery29 in December. “She’s only a few months old, but we stand in the mirror and I say something to her reflection, and I pretend she’s saying it back to herself.”

Continuing on the self-love train, Kardashian went on to share that she wants True to grow up treating makeup as “something you enjoy” rather than something that’s necessary in order to leave the house.

Of course, a love of makeup does run in the family, and earlier this week, Kardashian had some fun experimenting with a lipstick shade from her and BFF Malika Haqq‘s collaboration with BECCA Cosmetics, along with the help of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna‘s 2-year-old daughter Dream.

In a series of clips posted on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, the toddler looked straight into the camera while adorably applying the lipstick shade all around her mouth.

“Wow. I think you have enough on, mama,” said Khloé, prompting Dream to turn and apply some of the color to her aunt’s mouth instead.

Helping out her adorable niece, Khloé pointed at the side of her mouth, telling Dream, “I think you missed a spot over here. You forgot to put some here.”

However, Dream takes her own route and hilariously applies the lipstick to her aunt’s chin, causing the Good American designer to laugh and accept her fate. “Hm. Looks pretty good,” she announced, nodding in approval.

A BTS Fan Trolled Her Dad With Jimin Pictures and the Videos Went Viral

A BTS Fan Trolled Her Dad With Jimin Pictures and the Videos Went Viral

For members of the BTS ARMY, it’s clear that there’s no such thing as too much BTS. The K-Pop group’s massive popularity has extended way beyond the stage and studio, influencing everything from makeup and tattoos to science lessons and school tests. But people outside the ARMY (yes, they exist) aren’t quite as into the all-encompassing vibes of the BTS fandom — a fact that inspired a hilarious viral Twitter thread.

On Sunday, January 20, a fan who goes by @jiiminmoon tweeted, “my dad left on a business trip claiming he needed a break from bts and jimin so i made sure that when he gets home he will see jimin’s face everywhere he goes.” The tweet was accompanied by a video showing the extent of the trolling: There are photocards of BTS member Jimin plastered all around the fan’s home, including inside toilet lids, above light switches, in the refrigerator, on the bathroom mirror, above door knobs, and more.

She followed that tweet with subsequent videos documenting their dad’s discovery of the photos. “Why do you have him there?” her dad asked after finding the first image of Jimin affixed to the coffee maker, before laughing and adding, “so weird.”

“he still doesnt know that this is the first of MANY,” @jiiminmoon captioned the video. The good news: Her dad clearly had a sense of humor about the prank. In each of the videos, he can be seen or heard laughing as he discovers the pictures.

“I’m gonna take pictures of all of these and tweet,” he said in one video. “These are all gonna be in a tweet.” His daughter later updated followers noting that, while her dad didn’t make good on his tweet promise, he did post a picture of one of the Jimin cards on Instagram with the caption, “I have no one else to blame. What did I expect? I 1) troll [redacted] about her BTS obsession with @btsjimin, then 2) leave her alone in the house for a week. How many more? Oh dear God, how many more? He is everywhere.”

The epic trolling went viral, and fans and followers expressed their appreciation for the hilarious thread in the comments. “I’m literally in the back stock room at work crying oh my Lord this is the best thread I’ve ever seen ,” one Twitter user wrote, while another commented, “You are doing god’s work.”

@jiiminmoon closed out her thread with an all-too-true statement about BTS’s influence: “you CANT escape the biggest boyband and THATS the tea DAD!”

Valentino Spring 2019 Couture: Feather Eyelashes & Floral Face Paint by Pat McGrath

Valentino Spring 2019 Couture: Feather Eyelashes & Floral Face Paint by Pat McGrath

Makeup artist Pat McGrath is known for creating some of the most extreme, covetable looks during fashion weeks the world over. Take, for example, last night, when she covered the top half of model Cara Taylor’s face in the most holographic silver glitter at the Givenchy spring 2019 couture show. Or this morning, when she painted white masklike makeup across models’ eyes at the Maison Martin Margiela spring 2019 couture show. And to round out her 24 hours of truly mind-blowing makeup feats, McGrath outdid herself this evening with next-level lashes and three-dimensional face paint for Valentino’s floral-theme spring 2019 couture collection.

On all of the models, McGrath rimmed the eyes with black liner (her PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black) and coated the lashes in FetishEyes — the makeup legend’s newest product launch and first mascara (which hits shelves in February) — to create intensity and depth. She also broke out two of her 18 new Lust: Gloss shades: Earth Angel (a golden champagne), which she used on the models with light to medium complexions, and Bronze Venus (a bronze spiked with pink pearlescent flecks), which she used on models with darker skin tones.

But on some models, like Hannah Shakespeare, McGrath added not only false lash strips but also delicate feathers that she and her team glued along the top and bottom lashes, placing them down very carefully with a pair of tweezers (the mother of makeup posted a video of this to her Instagram stories just minutes after the show was over). A few feathers were also laid out across the eyebrows to complete the effect.

The larger-than-life eyelash accessories quivered and fluttered as the models blinked and floated gently as they walked down the catwalk. And from far enough away, the extra-fancy extensions (especially in darker colors like brown, burgundy, or black) almost made it look like the models were wearing graphic eyeliner. Of course, to make it even more extreme and fantasy-inducing, McGrath used feathers in a range of colors that were custom-made to match the gorgeous gowns coming down the runway. Some of the feathers were light lilac, while others came in royal blue, garnet, and beige.

McGrath and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli didn’t stop there, however. To connect the makeup even deeper to the collection’s floral theme, McGrath and her team also painted pastel flowers on a few of the models’ faces, dusting a veil of glitter on top and adding a crystal or two for dimension. The end result looked more like the blooms of a 17th-century Dutch master than the face paint of a music-festival-goer.

As for the hair, Guido slicked back lots of short haircuts for a simple, sleek look that let the lashes take the spotlight. For models with longer hair, he parted hair in the center and pulled it all back into a shiny, low chignon. “The inspiration was just beautiful, super chic, and polished because it was quite an extravagant couture show,” Guido told Allure. “The hair was kept much more classic and simple. There wasn’t a big design inspiration.”

To get the look, Guido blew out thicker and coarser hair textures using Redken Pillow Proof Dry Blow Dry Primer Spray and Redken Satinwear 04 Heat Protecting Blow Dry Lotion using a round brush. He then pulled hair into a low ponytail and twisted the tail to create the perfectly coiffed chignon. To make the hair really gleam under the runway lights, he added a bit of Redken Diamond Oil Glow Dry. “It’s just a super rich and polished look,” he said. “It’s funny how great classic hair looks sometimes.”

Kylie Jenner may have named her new makeup after Taylor Swift songs after Kim Kardashian announced her feud with the singer is over

Kylie Jenner may have named her new makeup after Taylor Swift songs after Kim Kardashian announced her feud with the singer is over

  • Kylie Jenner recently unveiled several Valentine’s Day lip kits.
  • Two lip items in the “Valentine Collection” also happen to be names of Taylor Swift songs.
  • Kim Kardashian also recently squashed the Swift feud and many are wondering if Jenner is secretly a Swiftie.

Kylie Jenner recently unveiled her Kylie Cosmetics“Valentine Collection,” and although the various cosmetics and lip kits don’t go on sale until February 1 — Kylie teased the collection with her usual I nstagram Story arm swatches. While highlighting the new Valentine’s Day lip colors, several fans noticed that two lip kit items had the same names as Taylor Swift songs.

A lip gloss in Jenner’s Forever Set lip kit is named “Story of Us” and a lip liner is called “Forever and Always,” which are both names of Swift songs. “Forever and Always” is off Swift’s classic 2008 “Fearless” album and “The Story of Us” is off the 2010 “Speak Now” album. Both songs are fan-favorites but also deep cuts.

If Jenner has been harboring a love affair with Swift’s music, now would be the time to open up about it. Kanye West and Swift’s feud goes all the way back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, but the Kardashians didn’t get involved until the “I made that b—- famous” fiasco of 2016.

Swift objected to being name-checked on West’s song “Famous” and referred to using the word b—-, but Kim Kardashian released video clips of Swift seemingly giving West her blessing to use her name on the song. Swift went on to seemingly bash West during her 2016 Grammy Award speech which caused Kardashian to double down.

However, during a recent “Watch What Happens Live” appearance, Kardashian all but squashed the nearly decade-long feud. “I feel like we’ve all moved on,” Kardashian West told Andy Cohen, and added that she’s “over it.”

Kim Kardashian West said she was “over it” on “Watch What Happens Live.”
Bravo

It’s possible that Kardashian West cleared the air for Jenner to come clean as a Swiftie, but it could also be a total coincidence seeing as Swift’s romantic songs just so happen to make perfect Valentine’s Day copy.
