Ranveer Singh’s latest pic reminds wife Deepika Padukone of candy, his response is hilarious – Hindustan Times

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are busy with the shoot of their respective films, Chhapaak and 83, but that doesn’t mean that they have no time for PDA. On Tuesday, Ranveer posted a picture of himself in a red jersey and immediately got a response from wife Deepika.

Commenting on the picture, Deepika simply wrote: “Candy.” Ranveer, who is on his Kapil Dev mode for Kabir Khan’s directorial 83, looks dashing in his stylised hairdo, handlebar moustache and a light but trimmed beard. He responded with stuck-out tongue emoji.

Deepika has been busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Chhapaak. A leaked footage from the film’s shoot in Delhi made its way to the internet, showing Deepika with her co-star Vikrant Massey. Wearing a simple yellow salwar kameez and appearing in her prosthetic makeup, Deepika is quite unrecognisable. When the first look of her character Malti was released, everybody was taken aback by the visual. Speaking to ANI, acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal on whose life the film is based, said: “It makes me happy that an actress like Padukone is embodying my character.”

Ranveer too has been busy with the rest of the team as they practice and prepare at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh for 83. The film, based on India’s surprise win at the 1983 cricket World Cup, also stars Saaqib Saleem (who plays Mohinder Amarnath), Harrdy Sandhu (who will eassy the role of Madan Lal), Chirag Patil (who will appear as his father Sandip Patil), Tahir Raj Bhasin (as Sunil Gavaskar), Ammy Virk (as Balvinder Singh Sandhu) and Jiiva (as Krishnamachari Srikanth) among others.

She has reportedly already split with her TV husband, Michael Brunelli.

And Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis looked to be showing her ‘husband’ what he’s missing in her latest Instagram Story on Thursday.

The 30-year-old makeup artist stripped down to a skimpy leopard print bikini during a photo shoot for Australian beauty brand Body Blendz.

Showing Michael what he’s missing? MAFS’ Martha Kalifatidis, 30, stripped down to a racy leopard print bikini for a photo shoot this week, after being spotted without her wedding ring in LA

In the short video, Martha poses in the scantily-clad swimwear, which accentuates her cleavage, toned tummy and defined legs.

The reality star grabs hold of either side of her briefs and casts a sultry gaze at the camera.

Martha’s locks fall loosely around her face and shoulders, and her striking facial features are enhanced with a glamorous makeup palette.

Curves ahead: In a short video shared to Instagram Stories on Thursday, Martha poses in the scantily-clad swimwear, which accentuates her cleavage, toned tummy and defined legs

It comes just days after Martha was pictured without her wedding ring while out in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The Kim Kardashian lookalike stunned in a black ensemble, complete with a Fendi handbag and strappy silver heels, but went sans wedding ring.

Despite having been dubbed one of the ‘picture perfect’ pairings of this year’s season of Married At First Sight, Martha and Michael have reportedly called it quits.

According to Monday’s issue of NW magazine, Martha is keeping the hunky P.E. teacher around in order to achieve fame.

Reports: It comes after reports that Martha and her ‘husband’ Michael Brunelli [pictured] have already called time on their relationship

Any truth? In Monday’s issue of NW magazine, it’s been claimed that their lives ‘couldn’t be further apart’

‘She wants to be as famous as possible and having Michael on her arm is the best way she can achieve this goal,’ an insider told the publication.

‘But in reality, their lives couldn’t be further apart. While she’s off living it up in Hollywood, he’s in Melbourne teaching kids every day,’ they added.

It is not known whether Michael has joined Martha on her overseas sojourn. The pair have not appeared together in images taken during the trip.

Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine

Bloomingdale’s Apologizes Over ‘Fake News’ T-Shirt, Pulls It From Stores

Bloomingdale’s Apologizes Over ‘Fake News’ T-Shirt, Pulls It From Stores

Department store giant Bloomingdale’s apologized on Monday after a customer flagged a “fake news” t-shirt in one of its stores.

“Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we apologize for any offense we may have caused,” the company said in a statement posted to Twitter. “We take this feedback very seriously and are working quickly to remove this t-shirt. Again, thank you for taking the time to alert us.”

The shirt was first identified by Allison Kaden, a journalist at New York City’s CW affiliate PIX11, who chided the company in a tweet that went viral.

Hey @Bloomingdales,” she said “This isn’t funny or fashionable. It further delegitimizes hard working journalists who bring REAL news to their communties [sic].”

The apology generated a storm of angry comments from some conservative commentators, who mocked the company for bowing to social media pressure as well as from liberals who insisted the apology didn’t go far enough.

“Hi, @bloomingdales. Apologizing ‘for any offense we may have caused’ is not a sincere apology,” Baltimore Sun reporter Pamela Wood said. “This is not about journalists’ hurt feelings. This is about damage done to our democracy when your brand joins in perpetuating and celebrating the idea of ‘fake news.’ Please try again.”

“Years from now we’ll all either be in gulags or this will have been diagnosed as a mental disorder,” countered Rubin Report host Dave Rubin.

Regardless, the Bloomingdale’s shirt is only the latest example of clothing pulled off the rack after online outrage.

This month alone, Gucci was forced to pull a turtleneck sweater and apologize after critics said its design resembled blackface. Katy Perry’s shoe label was also forced to yank two designs over accusations that they too resembled blackface, according to TMZ. And in January, H&M apologized for using a young African-American boy to model its “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” hoodie.

Following the epicure’s ouster from the Food Network in the wake of her infamous N-word controversy, Deen posted a photo on Twitter from her show’s 2011 Halloween episode featuring her son, Bobby, dressed as Ricky Ricardo, complete with brownface makeup.

Singer Kelsy Karter Admits Her Harry Styles Face Tattoo Was a Publicity Stunt

Singer Kelsy Karter Admits Her Harry Styles Face Tattoo Was a Publicity Stunt

Gotcha! Singer Kelsy Karter, who made headlines in late January when she appeared to get a tattoo of Harry Styles on her cheek, revealed that the artwork was actually all one big publicity stunt to promote her new single, “Harry.”

The musician, 26, posted a video to YouTube titled “How I Rocked the World for $300” on Thursday, January 31.

In the three-minute, six-second clip, the songstress reveals how — and why — she pulled off the hoax with a series of written slides.

“In April of 2018, I was going through one of the hardest times of my life,” the video reads at the start. “My dog Diva died. My relationship ended. And the last thing I wanted to do was write another song about it.”

Instead, Karter says she took the advice of a friend who suggested she write a song about the former One Direction band member after seeing him as the lock screen on her phone. “A week later, we made a music video. Directed, produced, edited by me,” Karter revealed.

The New Zealand-born singer finished recording her album and began planning her elaborate lark to coordinate with Styles’ 25th birthday on February 1.

To pull it off, she enlisted the help of celebrity tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, who traced a Rolling Stone magazine cover featuring the “Sign of the Times” singer’s face and applied it to Karter’s cheek, at which point a special effects makeup artist filled it in.

The songwriter posted the artwork to Instagram on Sunday, January 27, writing, “Mama, look what I made me do.”

Karter’s plan worked: The photo garnered national attention ahead of the release of her new track. “Every major publication and news outlet in the world covered the story,” she wrote in the video on Thursday. “And more importantly the song. I had your attention.”

After hiding out for several days, the prankster came clean: “The tattoo was not real. I love that Harry has introduced rock to a new generation of fans,” she wrote in the video. “Plus he’s nice to look at.”

She concluded, “This has always been about Rock & Roll. ‘Harry’ is an anthem for the fans. The tattoo is gone. All that’s left is the music. Which is what my rockstar team and I had planned all along.”

Styles has yet to publicly respond to the stunt.
